Whether you're looking for a quiet get-away for two or a location for a family reunion, this unique three-building compound on private property in Camp Sherman will amaze you. The nearly two-acre property offers stunning views of Mt. Jefferson and Three-Fingered Jack and a short walk or drive to the Metolius River.

But its unique charm lies within the compound's three buildings: The Lodge, The Cottage and the Bunkhouse. Inside, hand-painted interiors and high quality furnishings are imbued with a rustic simplicity to create a truly memorable base for exploring the beauty of the Metolius River Basin, the quaint town of Sisters and Central Oregon.

The buildings can be rented in any combination to suit your needs, with no more than one renter at a time. The 1,100 sf Lodge has one bedroom and 1.5 bathrooms and contains a fully-equipped farmhouse style kitchen with a large dining table. A cozy living room with a rock fireplace and an adjacent small TV room and one-half bath complete the ground floor. There is also window seat in the TV room that can be used as a bed. Upstairs is a vaulted master bedroom, dressing area, full bath with shower and laundry room.

Across a stone terrace from the Lodge is the Cottage, a delightful 400 sf guest house with a double bed, twin bed window seat and full bath with shower. A hand-carved painted ladder leads to a carpeted loft with a huge skylight. The loft is a wonderful place for older children in sleeping bags.

Lastly is the Bunkhouse on the upper level of the oversized 2 car garage. The Bunkhouse has two bedrooms and a full bath with shower. The smaller bedroom has a queen bed and the larger bedroom has two sets of bunkbeds.

For winter guests there are electric heaters in the Lodge and Cottage and a propane heater in the Bunkhouse. But the primary heat source for all the buildings are beautiful wood stoves that provide a cozy and cabin-like atmosphere and firewood is provided at no charge. (Parents of small children should be alert to this may choose not to use the wood stoves.) In the summer, the Ponderosa pine trees and 3,000 foot elevation make the buildings cool and comfortable.

Fly fishermen and other lovers of the outdoors have been drawn to Camp Sherman and the Metolius River for decades by its quiet yet majestic setting. From its headwaters at the base of Black Butte north toward Mt. Jefferson, the river winds through some of the most beautiful country in Oregon. Yet from Camp Sherman you can enjoy fine restaurants and entertainment in Sisters, numerous golf courses and endless hiking and other recreation. This 1650 sq. ft. 3 bedroom, 2 bath house has a beautiful view of the Pacific ocean and is located in scenic Brookings, Oregon, only minutes from mountain trails for hiking, biking and picture taking opportunities.

The mouth of the Chetco River is at the end of our street (a very short walking distance). Venture up river where you can choose to watch wildlife, go fishing (permit required) with a guide or on the banks, or simply just enjoy the natural beauty of the river and it's surroundings.

The house has an upstairs Master bedroom with a Cal-King size bed and includes a walk-in closet, a private bathroom with an oversize Jacuzzi bathtub, separate shower and even dual sinks.
This room includes a sliding glass door leading onto the balcony which when the blinds are open provides a spectacular view of the ocean even while laying in bed. The other upstairs bedroom includes a comfortable Queen size bed and its own sliding glass door leading onto the balcony.
The bedroom downstairs has a Queen size bed and a view of the backyard and beautiful mountains in the distance. There is one full bathroom downstairs in the hallway directly next to the bedroom.
There is a laundry room, central heat and A/C, a gas range and oven, and in the living room there is a wood pellet stove to keep you toasty warm on chilly evenings. For your convenience we provide Direct TV, wireless DSL and a phone for local calls.
With all kinds of summer and winter activities available you can have something new to do every day, or if you prefer just sit on the balcony, relax and enjoy the amazing view.
As per our city permit the house is limited to the number of occupants being no more than eight (8) individuals, only six (6) of which may be adults (over the age of 18), at any one time.
